    Just when I was trying to get rid of my avios, I have just received an e-mail giving me the option to buy an extra 11000 before the end of the year. Will hardly get me to Sydney!

    why bother ?
    for as many avios you may have in your account,you can’t find premium setas on long haul!!!

    plus,11000 takes you nowhere…

    11000 is good enough. It is a roundtrip CX/KA ticket of HKG-TPE-HKG + 2000 Avios left. It is like $250 in value
