Readers may note that on many occasions I have referred to Eurostar and its current sparse schedules.

Today’s tweet from train manager Justin demonstrates that very point.

There’s a video embedded which shows a solitary Eurostar departing St Pancras.

Once that train departs the Eurostar platforms at St Pancras are deserted.

However there is better news as you will read from today’s report that the UK government is now committed to supporting Eurostar.

    Government confirms support for Eurostar

From today (Monfay) Eurostar has reverted to those minimal schedules it was operating a couple of months ago.

In other words – two trains to Paris and one train to Amsterdam via Brussels.

There may be the additional train added from time to time.

Services will increase in line government restrictions during the pandemic.
