News emerging on social media that Eurostar will restore catering on September 7.

We shall seek comment from Eurostar as, until now, nothing has been officially announced.

But it does seem a long time to wait considering Eurostar is SNCF’s prestige product (with high premium fares to match) and that, as we reported in June, TGV Lyria has already restored catering.

The news was confirmed just now by Eurostar.

Eurostar also says all its lounges are now open although “there is a revised catering offer with pre-packaged snacks.”
