Emirates will increase Amsterdam services effective December 1

    As we reported last June it was almost certain that Emirates would be approved by the Dutch govt to operate more flights into Amsterdam Schiphol.

    Emirates set for third daily Amsterdam service

    Today the airline announced it would be adding an extra five weekly flights between Amsterdam and Dubai. Four would start on December 1 with the fifth following on January 1. It gives the Dubai-based carrier a total of 19 flights a week.

    All the additional five flights will be operated by B777-300ERs.

    These additional flights are perfectly timed for the winter peak season when so many Europeans head to Asia, Australasia and Africa.
