    MLA-LGW 2 hours 50 minutes, 1,282 miles

Online check in worked well and bag drop took less than 5 minutes.

Unusually for MLA, the queue was not well marshalled and speedy boarding wasn’t.

Seat 10C on the A319 was an exit row and has noticeable extra pitch, though not as much as on a 737. It is a non reclining, cloth covered seat that is comfortable for 2- 3 hours.

Departure was on time and we arrived on time at Gatwick.

As the flew flew over the lunch period, I bought a cup of Heinz soup (tasty), couscous (not bad) and a bottle of white win, for £9.20, which thought was okay on a flight.

Arrival into the North terminal involved a bit of a hike across the bridge, but the UK border was well manned and the wait was only a few minutes, well done UKBA.

Bags were delivered in about 15 minutes.

All in a good flight, cost was 164.50 euros.
