You were flying onboard a British plane. Should you have fly onboard a French plane this would have been very different (neither better nor worst ; simply different).
It’s all about culture (not sure “culture” is the proper English word).
You just have to remember that people from different countries have different cultures.
There is no French translation for “bling factor”.
“They used to live in a £ 2,500,000 Mayfair flat” (English newspaper) vs “They used to live in a Mayfair flat” (French newspaper).
It’s all about this
I don’t blame neither English nor French people for the way they act. But I feel ashamed that so many times French bashing or English bashing is the only answer to those differences between people.
