Near the knuckle, close to home, culture clash juxtaposition – even though photoshopped
I think we’ve wandered a little from the original theme, but it’s great fun.
At my boys school, they have a teacher called ” Mr. Hardick” (honestly) whose wife, Mrs. Hardick, also a teacher is pregnant with a boy.
I’ve been suggesting they name the boy “Ivor”!
Most bizarre experience – at a conference in Taiwan as guest of honour at a banquet. Me the only foreigner at the event some time in early December. At the end of the event, they announced a toast in my honour and we all stood solemnly, raised our glasses containing rice wine and sang “Silent Night”.

Australia still celebrates “Christmas in July”, within certain sections of the community.
It was one of my first tasks when taking a my Director of Nursing post, at a 370 place Retirement Village in the mid 90’s, to arrange.
When July came you could see the Blue Mountains (we were on the edge of Sydney), white capped, and it made more sense than the efforts and planning for it in April!
Also, never ask for directions in Australia by asking for the best Route!
