I am flying to Zagreb in a couple of weeks and then heading over into Slovenia, to Brezice for a meeting (it is only 40 km or so). Given the high profile events on the borders in the region at present, has anyone made that or similar crossings recently and how do they handle ‘regular’ travellers at land crossings?

I just met someone who makes this crossing regularly. She tells me there are several border crossings and has had no problems in either direction.
