    ‘SimonS1’ O that it could be so.
    I would so like an election that was fought on real tangible factors like that however regretfully we are likely to see the next UK General Election fought almost entirely on the stupidity of

    a) Immigration – with various right wing nutjobs having their 15 minutes of fame.

    b) Europe – the utterly ludicrous idea that the UK would be better off outside of the EU.

    Complex questions like future transport infrastructure investment are likely to be sidelined as the media once again dumbs the debate down to items like Milliband eating a bacon sandwich !

    You haven’t still got a vote in the UK, preferably in a key marginal, have you? If only….!

    Yes I still have a UK vote (and I use it) as I own the house my mother lives in. Regretfully not a marginal but a true blue Conservative majority of the type where a sheep with a blue rosette would get elected 🙂
