Caledonian Sleeper cancelled during 11 day strike starting June 15

    I thought I ought to alert you to the above in case you are planning an Anglo-Scottish trip this month.

    This is a long strike and, as far as I can recall, it’s the longest strike since Caledonian Sleeper took over the operation of the overnight Anglo-Scottish sleepers.

    RMT workers are striking over a pay freeze.

    Caledonian Sleeper has cancelled all services between June 15 and June 26 inclusive.

    Do these members of staff really think this is a great time to strike – I’m pretty sure the company is already just about on it’s knees with all the disruption over the last 18 months – this could ring the death knell for sleeper services in the UK
    Whilst staff should be treated with respect & receive proper compensation for the work done, however there must be some other way of coming to a suitable compromise
