When did the “Starbucks alternative” to the Lounge cease to operate at C Gates and is any other option available now? I was, to my surprise, refused my usual service there on Thursday.

Yes some further cost cutting, but I suspect that BA had worked out that some people were leaving the lounges and a stopping at Starbucks to acquire cups and other stuff that wasn’t really in the spirit of the scheme (people used to boast on FT about it).

Apart from those doing a C to C connection I couldn’t really see the point of it.

I have always been surprised BA don’t have a lounge in the C concourse especially with the number of long haul flights departing from there. Is there one planned?
