I agree with you.
The nightmare for me is ‘sir’, when it is delivered without sincerity. Also Mr and first name in the Middle East – it is courteous, but I don;t like it.
“My meal was handed to me with a look of utter disgust.”
This may be fair enough, with BA food 😉
DoS: Was the line, “There we are, sir,” by chance? I’ve heard it used a few times and, whilst coolly professional, not exactly creating a personable rapport
You know the Cabin Crew don’t think of you very highly is they use, “There We Are Then.”
“This may be fair enough, with BA food ;-)”
Perhaps the disghust is from the realisation that that is the food that they get to eat after all the passengers have been fed 😉
A friend who travels weekly from LHR to TLV (and has done so for the past 15 years, 48 – 50 times a year in business) has tried now on 3 occasions to see what BA can offer, in terms of cost and flexibility.
There are quite a few people that make this weekly commute.
On the 3 occassions my friend has tried, he found BA not at all interested.
Perhaps it is Bye bye BA.
VK stated: “Do let us know what differences you notice.” Who is ‘us’? BA??
