    That’s a good point Canucklad. I find BT very UK centric and yet I know it has a good readership base in other European countries – me included. Clearly there will be more votes for the Concorde Room than the First Class lounge at Frankfurt due to the demographics of the readership, though the latter is far better I think.

    Exactly LP, and I’m curious….as someone who clearly has his heart tugged by the dark continent, how often do you take time to read the African edition?

    In the Best Airport Hotel category I would nominate the hotel nikko kansai.

    Within walking distance of the terminal, across the footbridge on the departures level. Anyway, it is well signposted.

    Superb staff…goes without saying.

    At least 3 restaurants, reasonable walk-in rates, smoking rooms available and runway views.

    It is, however, quite strict about the 14:00 check-in time.

    Will go back!
