I thought this news today would interest readers as I know that some if not many of you travel to Bangkok.

British Airways extends Bangkok suspension into 2023

Of the many crazy trips I did during my career, perhaps the daftest of all was LHR-JFK-LHR-BKK-LHR-JFK-LHR over a 12 day period, all in First on BA. In those days (2001), BA F was a great cabin to fly in.

So is the cancellation of passenger flights down to:

Staffing levels or BA9/10 make more money operating as freighters.

All very sad, the world reopening but travel to Asia (including HKG) very challenging and costly.

This week I redeemed Avios for a business class ticket for next February for Bkk and was immediately offered a Qatar option which I gladly took.
