I travelled on BA839 from Dublin to Heathrow on an old A319.

The boarding process was shambolic with rude attitude from staff causing confusion between fast track lanes.

The plane was old with a part of the seat hanging off and the magazine rack in front of me had split at the bottom.

We left on time and departed towards London.

The service was the normal with light refreshments being handed out and a choice of a drink i.e. soft drinks or alcoholic beverages.

The rubbish was collected and we descended into London Heathrow. We landed 10 minutes ahead of schedule.

Luggage took about 5 minutes to arrive.

A good flight however the plane and boarding needs to be looked at.

It looks as though BA are stripping the seats from the LGW 737s and putting them into the old BMI 319s. The old BMI seats are totally unacceptable to BA standards, esp in Club Europe. The old 737 seats may be scruffy, but at least they are more comfy

Could BA just invest in seats with IFE(in all classes) in them to win people back.
