    So Willie has had his way and intends to make Aer Lingus the model for British Airways Shorthaul.

    How long now for Club Europe, after all the seating is in place.

    Then frequent flyers will be unable to reach tier stautus so easily and money will be saved on feeding and watering us in the lounges.

    Given that the routes will be available with other airlines still offering business class how many business flyers will remain with BA.

    Next CEO for BA could well be the dreaded Michael !
