Stayed at The Boscolo “The Residence”, which are apartment in Budapest, built within the same block of The Boscolo itself.

The hotel clearly has adopted the method of usiong the apartments to accomodate guests when overbooked!.

I stayed in the hotel, well thought we did last time, but it was a great room with outside rood balcony, but know see it was an apartment base room.

They built apartments to be marketed locally as in permanent residence, for sale or lease, but these have not been taken up. There is also an empty shopping area on the ground floor aside in the block, under the apartments which has lay empty for 2 years..
So, it seems like a failed project, but well utilised in other ways.
Certainly on the 6th floor, there is a corridor link door, opened up from one building to the other.

The apartments are great offering a room to 1 bedroom apartment, and two bedroom split level, with winding stairs to the upper floor. You can have access to the Hotel facilities, some for a fee (Spa, breakfast).

But if you hope to stay in the hotel, be sure you are actually IN the hotel, and not the block next door.

Full recommend the apartments though, pristine, excellent space and facilities, good location, and access to the hotel as per hotel guests.

With offers through agents (Ebookers in this case) they had a -20% sale, and we also found a -%15 voucher to add on.
We stayed for £79 per night, incl the taxes, high in Hungary.

The hotel prices are at least twice the apartments rates!
