Some encouraging reports that Unite is stepping in and Len M will be at these BASSA/CC89 meetings recommending the latest settlement to members, with some compromise on BA’s part on having suspensions independently reviewed.
That changes the landscape somewhat from what was believed to be the case earlier in the week when Holley seemed to be lining up for a BASSA vs. Unite show. Len’s presence should moderate more extreme elements.
Thrust of the settlement not dissimilar to the October 2010 version, agreed by Unite “as the best offer available” and scuppered by Socialist Worker influenced CC89, with BASSA following their lead, lamb-like:

Still everything to play for as some (read: one) of the BASSA leadership do not support this, and could still scupper negotiations.
But it does look like the end is nigh.
