    I’ve often flown to the USA from Heathrow to the USA on BA’s morning flights, so am conversant with the meal service of lunch followed by tea, served in First.

    I am booked for a departure to Miami on BA 205 very soon, and would be grateful for an idea of the meal service that is served. It’s departure is at 14.50, arriving at 19.55.

    From memory it’s the same- followed by afternoon tea.

    Welcome to ‘Chez Bullfrog & family’, but sadly my kitchen entourage don’t have an aeroplane.

    Other friends just arrived from London with BA in F to spend 3 months in CPT. Just shown him this and his reply is that all they want is their baggage which has been lost by BA!

    @canuckload:

    sounds very good!
    If they had a Caviar serving before the rest, it would be perfect. (LH/LX and a few other still serve the sturgeon eggs)

    Regretfully LX no longer serve the sturgeon eggs Millions. LH do though. Not sure about the Gulf carriers however.

    I thought the whole point of BA F was to order what you want when you want.

    2 fried eggs on toast please!

    @LuganoPirate

    Last tie they did, but that is a year ago.

    LH generally always serves Caviar as starter in F. If there is F, there are the fishy eggs.

    Caviar was still served by Thai in F when I last enjoyed the service a year or so back.

    Caviar and Balik still feature in the CX offer.

    For BA F, think about Harvester/All Bar One, and you will not be disappointed.

    Microwaved burgers in the Concorde Room.

    This is because CX is customer oriented, BA is driven by cost savings and penny pinching.

    Here we go again…

    Lets try not to reveal the usual prejudice.

    The OP wants to know what the meal service is, not provide an opportunity for the usual suspects to put the boot in.. again…

    CX are also much more expensive, I have always found the BA offering in F most acceptable I usually fly HKG LHR so it’s dinner and breakfast, both very good.
    Canucklad forgot the welsh rarebit.
