The State Bank of India says that Kingfisher Airlines in now a “non-performing asset” and “in default”. SBI is the airline’s biggest lender. It all goes to prove that hiring pretty flight attendants can only get you so far. Still, the owner is putting enormous pressure on the Government of India and the new civil aviation minister to bail them out. In the meantime, it’s probably safer to save any OneWorld miles with another airline. http://bit.ly/A1Lp6j
