Sitting in new TG Bangkok airport lounge… huge improvement.
So nice to see a bar upon entering, thai food made to order and actually quite good. Managed to get a massage at the spa (not very busy)…quite surprised a huge improvement from the old over crowded dated lounge…

I was in the new Royal Orchid Prestige lounge a month ago shortly after it opened a month ago and it was like a sauna as the air con wasn’t working properly so much so that after a couple of hours I left and went to the lounge at C gates. Whilst still a corridor, it seemed a huge improvement on the dark one it replaced.

The aircon was working last night, actually it was even too cold.
I wonder if this is the first step of many much needed improvements for Thai airways.
