Didn’t fly IB for a long while now. While I am confident regarding lounge access and Avios/points collection, I was wondering whether I’d be able to select my seat for free (assuming this is a paying service on IB as well) or not?
    Thanks

Yes you can select your seats foc, however, there is a glitch on the system which means you can only select the Heathrow outbound. You may need to speak to BA to reserve your inbound seat.

Used IB a couple of time this year…. not bad at all….

I flew them on Monday and will again next week. From my experience if the flight is on IB metal then you need to use the IB website. If however it’s BA metal but booked under an IB codeshare then you can do it via the BA website. That the case for my booking next week. Hope this is of some help.
