Please press the ‘Skip to last post’ button above for the latest update.

It may be useful for forum readers to have one ‘clean’ thread which is solely for the reporting of updates to commercial policies and rebooking, rather than general discussion.

If forum readers notice an update to the BA website, or any other official source, perhaps they could post here and then the thread will pop to the top of the listings whenever there is ‘new news’.

If possible, and to make it as useful as possible (particularly for those on mobile devices), please avoid posting comment and discussion in this thread.

If you are able to post an update, please do so with a GMT timestamp. Hopefully this will help us all stay abreast of the latest developments.

Edited to add: Freephone number now available for those who booked online at ba.com, or with a BA call centre, and who cannot change their booking online:

    0800 727 800 (06:00 – 20:00 Mon-Fri)

We are now flying with Euroatlantic Airways in a 767.

VERY apprehensive – think there is only limited business seats.

It’s having an effect on rival carriers too – tried to book a VS C class to Tokyo earlier – £6500. Be aware.
