VintageKrugParticipantIt’s good to see Mixed Fleet branded as “excellent” by Tom Otley in his recent review of a Mixed Fleet flight.
Let’s hope the increased training and familiarity with the product offering will lead to further improvements which will mean BA is at the forefront of cabin service once again.

SimonS1ParticipantOf course the fact that the flight had Willie Walsh and a large media contingent on board had no bearing on the service provided.
Interesting also that the review refers to the seat being a bit battered and a few other deficiencies with the hard product.
Clearly if BA were able to match decent staff and decent equipment then they could be a good option.
Becky – as to why bring his up now, maybe you cold check the date the review was published.

FormerlyDoSParticipantIt is good to see that Tom Otley rates BA on the same level as easyJet.

And that’s a fact, as a certain fat Spanish waiter might say.

bacrew1Participantrferguson…. perhaps the cabin crew were hand picked…. but there aren’t that many Ambassadors from mixed fleet to crew a 777… plus very very rarely the “Ambassador” team (not promotions team) actually operate the flights…. They are there for the publicity….perhaps you are getting confused with the VIP crew team who actually are hand picked to operate flights, (but again, I doubt if there are many of these from Mixed Fleet)
