In a nutshell there will be three types of economy fares:

    – Basic. Essentially replaces the ‘hand baggage only fare’. Includes no checked bag allowance. Seat allocated at check in or paid for in advance.
    – Plus. Checked bag. Seat selection -48HRS. Free flight changes on day of departure.
    – Plus Flex. Refundable. Free seat selection at time of booking. Changes as above.

Be interesting to see if these fare types are the result of some changes to the glitch FDOS has experienced in regards to seat selection.

I think these fares were implemented in March

Although the names you mention are not the same and that may be a new re-branding/launch exercise.

You are right FDOS it’s a rebrand of the types.

    Apologies for any confusion!

Pretty much a carbon copy of Iberia economy fare bands.

On the “Plus” option changes before day of departure are still free if same fare class available – otherwise a fare difference may apply. On the day it is free to change (even if higher fare buckets) provided seats available in the Economy Cabin – up to Y Class. Must be done at least an hour before the scheduled flight departure.
