    PD –

You have to remember the UK is quite small. There is no way it is big enough for 2 international hubs for a single airline, so of course it is going to be London focused, thats where 90% of its customer base ( not including those that are just transiting LHR, and they couldnt care where they change planes) is located.

People from areas other than London might not like it, but the face of the UK to the international market IS London.

    I absolutely LOVE this ad!!

London is also the world’s largest O&D market.

I can’t understand why people bitch about BA being London-centric so much. The fact of the matter is it’s a profit-driven company, like any other airline. LCCs and faster trains make the UK domestic market difficult to compete with its high cost base. They aren’t going to serve loss-making routes just to be nice.

Binman62, British Airways certainly isn’t becoming “small”.

On what metric do you base that assertion?
