    I have just flown on a BA 777 with the New Club World seat. I was surprised to find that the plane, despite having been recently fitted with the new seat had the old 12 channel IFE on it rather than the new AVOD IFE. Is this a cost saving measure from BA or because of some technical problem?

    I think its because the screen etc are from the old old system……the screens are not compatable with the touch screen on demand and they are waiting for the new THALES system to save replacing everything twice in a short space of time.
