In yesterdays Telegraph (Wed 16th Feb) was a front page article saying that BA will award bonuses of thousands of ponds each to pilots, cabin and ground crew as its chief exec Sean Doyle tries to restore morale amongst its 30,000 staff.

Cabin and ground crew will receive a gesture of thanks worth 10% of annual salary and pilots will get 5% due to having a higher base salary.

Apparently one of the reasons is that he is trying to build bridges after swingeing job cuts by Alex Cruz.

It also states that Doyle has reversed Cruz’s decision to end free food and drink and has also pledged to fix the call centre issues. (good luck on that one)

Judging by my own experience and almost everyone else’s on here putting the customer first with a functional and reliable IT system would be a good start.
