Just got through my Priority Pass newsletter with news that the BA Galleries Club lounge at IAD now accepts Priority Pass members from 07:00-14:00 – presumably most BA flights depart much later so rather than leave the lounge un-used in the morning they’re offering other passengers access.

Not a great deal of room in that particular lounge but not a bad idea as long as they restock for the evening flights. I’ve not had to get there before about 17.00 for the first flight back and still get a decent meal.

I applaud BA for utilising their facilities in this way. I wonder whether this will be extended to other BA outposts where the BA lounge remains shut during certain periods. After all, this is not the first facility where revenue is gained in this manner. Flight simulators are rented as well as aircraft for filming purposes.
