It is high time that Lufthansa’s labour union organized primadonna pilots wake up! In Germany the image of Lufthansa pilots is damaged already: plenty of free time, (too) much salary / pension and still greedy. Just another barrel without bottom. Other airlines – including state owned ones – have control on their staff: who strikes is out!!!
Maybe one reason why Lufthansa is remarkably more expensive: LH needs a heavy financial cushion for quite frequent strike cases.
As a paying premium passenger I have zero tolerance for labour unions’ power games. When there is the slightest rumor of a strike I carry my money to another airline.
