According to local radio traffic reports, there will be almost no trains from LGW to London or Brighton until early next Tuesday due to engineering works. A bus replacement service will operate….and we all know what that means!!
Also work has started on the M23, lasting until spring 2020.
Looks like, avoid Britain’s Premier charter airport at all costs!

with the M25 shut today, I had a very frustrating journey to T5. Ended up being dropped at T2 and went into the underground maze to find a route to T5..Very well sign posted, but what a schleeep…

Happy bank holiday weekend and I hope all have speedy journeys to which ever airport you are trying to reach…

I’m just coming back from Gatwick – the train station is very busy, and that’s with all the trains working, so it won’t be much fun over that weekend.

The queue to buy tickets stretched back into the South Terminal.

The other thing was that immigration by the e-gates was empty for UK and EU citizens, but for non-Eu there was a very long queue.
