EZE-FCO on 772 AZ – Magnifica Class. Quick priority check-in at EZE and decent Executive lounge offered by Aerolineas in new C terminal of EZE. Not very much to eat inside there, but classy and design place to stay for a while.

First surprise was that AZ CPT was at the door welcoming all pax (J or Y). Very impressive.

Fantastic new 1+2+1 configuration on Magnifica Class, I think one of the best and most comfortable seating of J class ever seen, similar to AF First class.

After being seated, the Chief Purser introduced her personally to any J pax. Very kind lady and very impressive sensation to the passenger.

Main food was fantastic, seemed home-made. Regional menu from Calabria on that trip. You really tought yourself in a true Italian classy restaurant. Dishes and portions are prepared in front of you, and you can mix and try the different options proposed. Not very large portions, though, to satisfy everybody.
Good selection of italian renowned wines, I personally choose a Fiano di Avellino white.

Entertainment onboard was ok, few recent blockbusters, some older movies, italian, US and from other countries. Not a very large selection, though.

The fully flat seat is 10 points, duck feather duvet and very good pillow, 180° recline. Open bar at night with mini sandwiches, snacks and beverages. Could be checked by the crew a little more often. Ice, for example, end up quickly.

Breakfast before landing could be improved, not bad but not at the level of the main lunch. Argentinean Yoghurt is served in its plastic box, not classy at all….

Flight ontime. As usual in FCO, 45 minutes to get your luggage, but this is nos specifically AZ fault….

Thank you Dario, nice review of a carrier we hear little about.
