Your not going to find much wine around Queensland other than in a bottle shop.

From both Sydney and Adelaide airports excellent wine tours operators will pick you up, probably from Perth also.
There are several wine tours to the Hunter Valley, where some of the best AU wine is produced, that will pick you upfrom Sydney airport.Some friends used these people but if you do a google search you will find others

Lets not forget the wineries in Victoria, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula some awesome wines from there!

Also from WA (Perth) you must go to the Margaret River region also some of the best Aussie wines too
