I know some of you are members of the above so I thought I would alert you to this piece in today’s NL Times.

Received last Friday a warning from them that my data were “possibly compromised”… I was asked to change my password.

I always worry when I’m asked to change the password that if it’s been compromised, that might be part of the ‘hack’!

Ive been thinking about subscribing to a password manager – I wonder if anyone else does that?

I finally did it last year, since virtually all the IT people I am working with agree on this point. And I am quite happy with this.

I think I will do it.

This Washington Post article from yesterday recommended 1Password, Bitwarden and Dashlane.

It seemed to have doubts about one called LastPass

Everything you’ve been told about passwords is a lie

Taking just one of these steps can improve your online security. But the real goal is killing passwords.

    Interesting article, Tom. Thank you.

Two-step authentication: definitively as much as I can.

    I am using Apple’s.
