As someone with tickets booked for later in the year on the LGW-CTU service, I’m disconcerted to see the mixed messages relating to the move to LHR – does anyone have any more info?

Online, Air Chiona are still selling LGW flights, but all of the news stories point to a LHR departure – as does the front page of the Air China website!

Any more details of the move, or any info at all would be appreciated – naturally Air China have little to say themselves….

Have you checked Airchina.co.uk today ?

I ask because when I checked the flights to Chengdu are displayed as operating ex-LHR from end April.

If not shown as operating ex-LHR “later in the year” … do you mean before or after the winter timetable ?

If so it’s possible this airline is awaiting LHR slot confirmation for the winter season.
