    Here’s the news piece we published yesterday, confirming that Air Canada’s B777s (including the B777-200LR featured here) will eventually be converted to 10-across in economy class.

    The news was confirmed by the airline’s CEO Calvin Rovinescu.

    I recently flew the AA 77W for 9 hours…..it was even ‘difficult’ even in ‘prem econ ‘\
    It is ABSURD in ten across seating, giving credence to the description of cattle car seating….\
    This is yet another veiled attempt to fleece the traveling public providing slightly more ‘room’ for money….as this is a ‘Business Travelers’ site, most will avoid Y….until they retire….when the miles run out and your Elite perks are devalued…welcome back to the Kettle Family.}

    They should be forced to re-brand their ” Y” class… ” 4th class by Calvin Rovinescu” “

    In fact any airline that sets out a 10 across cabin and offers Premium economy as well should call the PE cabin Blackmail class.
