An experience not to be repeated.

Arriving at Tanger Airport was told the plane would be late. In fact it took them more than 3 hours later than the estimated time of departure. No announcements why, no explanation, no person to explain the situation. We had to wait in the departure hall until we were told to board. Only then they told us that the plane would be 3 hours late. They did provide us with a snack and a drink.

Only on the plane they explained the reason of this delay (deviation due to an ill passenger). They only have A320 planes, seating is 31 inches apart (just a bit more than usual) and well enough for sitting. Don´t try to sleep. The food is rather bland and nothing comes for free. Not even on a 3 hour delayed flight. Hand luggage is just 10 kilo´s if you fly out from Morocco. Even a low cost carrier can still inform their passenger about delays, be polite and try to compensate. NOT Air Arabia.

They have a saying in Morocco; better late than never. They did just that and never bothered about customer service. Although a direct connection between Amsterdam and Tanger this one is really to be missed. Despite the reasonable price.

Why should they compensate for a 3 hour delay out of their control?!?

Im to sure we know based on this posting whose fault the delay was, I think the OP’s point is be polite and communicate with your customers
