I am looking for feedback re the last row at the very back. There is now no seats to the left or right just the middle row at the back near the stairs and the toilets.

The SIA customer service person told me that these seats have extra legroom, although the toilets are located behind this row. I relied upon his judgement but now I am not so sure. When I looked at the seat map on Manage Booking, it looks like the toilets could be directly behind these seats but maybe a little further back. Would I be correct? It’s hard to tell. Can anyone provide comment? I am wondering now if I should change seats. The flight to London is very long and I want to be comfortable. Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated.

The plane has more than one version, here are the maps on seat guru:

It appears “Dinkumpom” is referring to the latest retrofitted version.

This version differs because economy class is only located downstairs (on some other SIA A380s there are a few economy seats upstairs too)

I am looking for feedback on what these seats are like 9n the A380 to LHR from Changi. I was assured by SIA that these have extra legroom. Are these last row of seats right up against the outer wall of the toilets because I can’t tell from the online map? Noisy and bothersome? Or are the toilets a little further back away from these seats? Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe stick to the original thread?

First_Class_Please – No. Because it didn’t grab the attention I wanted, for someone to answer my questions. Instead I received a link to the seat maps which I had already looked at. They didn’t understand the feedback I was trying to get. The second thread has a better title and is actually asking a direction question. I hope that I can get some assistance.

It has been a little while since I flew on the upper deck on SQ, but from what I can remember, and I wouldn’t take this as 100%, they are not up against the wall of the toilet, though I don’t recall them having different legroom.

I’ve merged the threads and clarified the topic. Hope you get the advice you are looking for.

Dinkumpom is, as far as I can ascertain, referring to its newst retrofitted A380 which is configured with economy class on the lower deck only.

In my posting above I provided a link to the official SIA seat plan.

To be sure of having extra legroom I would suggest Dinkumporn chose an extra legrooom seat (these are marked in yellow) elsewhere in the economy cabin.

SIA now charges a fee for advance seat selection.

Correction. Typo. Should have been “choose.”

I am reposting the latest SIA seating plan for the A380.
