More space in security areas so you can unpack/divest etc as you shuffle along (would need tables in the last part of the snake-queue), and a long runout of tables to allow you to shuffle away and repack/reclothe.
Better communications as to what to wear and what to put through
And also more consistency from time to time and airport to airport of what can come in handbaggage, and what has to be scanned (is it shoes off this month?)
