Good morning,

The Nation in Nigeria is reporting that Virgin Atlantic is pulling out of Nigeria.

“Though the airline is yet to officially announce the pull out, it has issued letters of disengagement to its Nigerian cabin crew.
A source close to the regulatory authority hinted that the British carrier has also shut down its call centre in the Ikeja axis of the Lagos metropolis.”

Virgin’s website is still taking bookings on the Lagos route until the end of the Winter schedule this morning, however (end of April 2016).

It might be that the route will continue to be operated by UK cabin crew.

Virgin is clearly making changes to its crew arrangements, including Hong Kong wher the number of attendants is reportedly being reduced to 10 from 12

We’ve contacted Virgin to try and get a comment.
