Rodders agree with you about the crew changing into their tees. I must admit that on the whole it was the female crew that really shone for me on MH. The guys seemed to be a little moody and stand-offish generally.
One thing that I really noticed and wanted to ask (but was afraid to) was whether they were allowed to wear the islamic veil as crew? I noticed at KUL airport that around 75% of the female ground staff were dressed in the moderate islamic style of dress often found in muslim SE Asian countries. Yet I did not see a single female crew member on four sectors wearing the same.
Londonian yes the service is a little ‘paced’ on the night flight. from KUL. But I guess with a near 13 hour flight time it still allowed ample time for sleep. It was quite nice to actually not have the feeling that ‘its a night flight just go to sleep damn it’ that some airline crew can convey.
