In terms of unbeatable customer service by KLM you can’t beat this:
Due to theft of exampapers in the Netherlands the French language exam for 17.000 students was postponed and shifted to tomorrow afternoon in stead of this afternoon. Sad as this was the last of the exams for most students. Many of whom would go on vacation straight away.
This was announced by the exam board this morning at 10:00AM. Around 11:00 AM KLM posted a message that read: Any student that has a ticket for tomorrow, but still has to make the exam can reschedule his/her flight at no extra cost.
Nobody asked for this yet, but KLM anticipated well, again. It reminds me of how they handle weather related incidents over the years. Informing you by various means and rebooking you in stead of hanging around a closed airport.
Marcus, you are right. In terms of customer care they absolutely have their house in order.
