I suggest that you try and speak with the UK Country Manager for Emirates, failing that then send a letter to Sheikh Ahmed in Dubai the Chairman of Emirates. I had a customer service issue some years ago with American Airlines, and could not speak with a person, so in frustration I called the number for corporate communications in Dallas, and it was solved within a few days! The issue is the folks are not empowered to take a decision. I recall some years ago that BA had a group of people called the Executive Assistants whose job it was to sort out issues that had been passed up the line, they were quite remarkable individuals.
