We had 53 A/B and 53 J/K, the service was good, seat comfortable. The overhead locker space as a bit tight, but the compartment by 53 A/K did help somewhat, however, don't put your drink on the lid, as it is very sensitive, and popped out a couple of times spilling the glass of water. The IFE is far better than the old 747's. The outlaws were very impressed with the A380, especially the size of the toilets on the upper deck
However, about 4 hours from our arrival in Johannesburg, the noise from the galley increased as they started preparing breakfast. Lots of banging & crashing, staff talking,
I did get out and ask if they could be a bit quieter, which they were for a while, but then the noise increased again.
My farther-in-law who is fairly deaf, even complained about the noise level, and he had taken out his hearing aid!!!
