Concierge staff at London hotels regularly fall foul of this data protection nonsense – as they are requested to change bookings on behalf of guests and BA are the only airline to refuse – every other airline says fine

There is obviously a security issue (Mr Joe Public shouldn’t be able to call up and change my booking)… but its not a data protection issue.

It would be something really easy for BA to put right, make customers lives easier and bring them into line with other airlines
