While I accept that there are many reasons why an individual chooses to pay their money to avail of lounge facilities, it is none the less particularly dispiriting when Aer Lingus reduces their food service offering by such an extent while charging the same fee for the service.
It’s just a shame that Aer Lingus appears to be moving towards the “american” lounge experience rather than maintaining comparability with their european counterparts.
By all means get your money’s worth by drinking the place dry (before they start charging for drinks). Don’t wash for a week and luxuriate in their hot water – even ask for a second towel.
Just don’t expect to have a fresh, sustaining snack for your Euro25.
