It is not actively my intention to cause you or anyone else to take exception to any remark of mine. I have, on occasions taken personal exception to certain remarks directed at me from certain quarters but have opted not to make a song and dance of it.
The origin of this part of the discussion derives from the preponderance of Asia-Pacific and Gulf carriers in the Skytrax awards that some hate, others rate. I chanced upon a Youtube posting entitled “Gatwick ’90 part 10” in which an Asian cabin crew trainer, training Asian CC made the point about eye contact and deference amongst her trainees. Yes, this was now some 23 years ago but my question is whether or not such a mindset still prevails? Is that an illegitimate observation?
