IMO there is no C seat to equal the CX seat which now AA and apparently AF have chosen. The number two would be the fairly standard seat and I say that because it is so widely used by LX, OS, AY and soon KL. F products are rightly a little more unique.
If and it is if, BA are to introduce a new product they will find themselves with the same situation as LH have with the A380, brand new planes with substandard seats. I would also fear that it would stay that way for a long time. LH generally refurbish far faster than BA do and the A380 is still some way in the distance for them so the BA A380s/787s are likely to be at least five years away if there was a new C product in the next year.
