I think the VK share price argument is a touch naïve.
Comparing % changes in share prices of organisations in the same sector means nothing at all, as it takes no account of where they started.
EPS, dividend, PE, for example, are much more valuable measures.
Change is share price is only relevant if you look at the point at which you bought. Thus 25% vs 70% means over 6 months means nothing, unless you bought both 6 months ago.
