Thanks VK for your interesting private jet trip report. As good as flying in the “pointy end” can (sometimes…) be, it can never compare to the ease, speed and comfort of business jet travel.
This being said…
I had the pleasure of flying with a private owner on his Hawker 850XP recently. Having taken advantage of the free lattes (yes, the plural) in the GA VIP lounge prior to take-off, I was in need of visiting the throne room (as you call it…) about mid way into our 2:30 flight. Mentioning this to a colleague onboard, he subtlety informed me that if I did indeed use the head (no one had yet used it on the flight) that the owner would incur a 150 GBP “service charge” by his handling agent for pumping.
Needless to say (playing the ‘good passenger’), I waited!
Oh, the irony…
